No. I also see individuals.
The title of my degree speaks to my concentration on systemic therapy. This simply means that my belief is that all of the systems that we are a part of (family, education, religious, social...) determine our current perspective.
I recommend weekly sessions as we begin our work, but many clients move to bi-weekly or monthly as they see progress. However, the frequency and duration of your time in therapy is up to you.
Each session lasts 45-50 minutes.
Many times we know the things in our life that we would like to change, but don't know how to enforce that change. Therapy allows you to confidentially process your concerns with an unbiased trained professional who can help navigate the road to change.
Some clients simply need someone to talk to.
I abide by regulations that do not allow me to share your commitment to therapy with anyone that is not emergency personnel (if applicable). I am unable to confirm that you are a client to anyone unless you have released me to do so (not your spouse, your child, your employer, your pastor...).
Yes. If you would like to speak to me before committing to therapy, please reach out for a 15 minute virtual or telephone consultation.
